I got a message from some readers of your blog who are not the students of our groups that it's impossible to post comments under the postings. Maybe your blog is not available for people from the outside to leave comments? Does anyone know how to change it? I've tried myself but haven't been successful only with your blog.

My Sunday

The 3th of May in Poland is the day, in which Polish people passed The 3th of May Constitution.Polish Constitution was second in the World and first in Europe.
Today we celebrate this Holiday.
One of many stocks was run "Since the 3th Constitution till European Union". I 'm a scout so I was helping in organization and I kept the Austria's Ensign. During the race we (scouts and girl guide) were standing along the run's route and waving Ensigns of European Union's countries. In the race we were near 2 thousands of people. Many of them weren't professional, but they were happy. When they met us they always asked about this country. After the race every person got an occasional medal.

Interesting places in Poland

The Alien Invasion

A long, long time ago, when the people had been living on the planet called the Earth, a strange object appeard on the sky. This spaceship landed on the Earth.Out of this strange machine got off ten aliens.They looked horrible, but interesting at the same time. They had eleven eyes and five legs . They made weird sounds and held in their hands objects, which looked as presents. Soon, it came out that it was a weapon they used to invite the Earth.  People thought that those creatures were friends, but when they attacked people everything was clear.The aliens attacked late at night, using all their powers to fight with people. Poor people had no chance to win this fight. Aliens were stronger, faster, more intelligent and had better weapon. They were fighting when the volcano errupted and stopped this battle.  Aliens were scared. They kidnapped one of men and took him on the ship. Lava was everywhere. All the area are was destroyed. People built new civilization in mountains. Although the aliens have never come back since that day, all the people who had seen or survived that terrible day, can feel that it's not over. They know that there will be a day when the aliens come back and they will be better.

Maja and Ola’s Story

Long, long time ago in magical world there was a big forest. In the middle of the wood there was a tower. On the top of the tower lived a beautiful princess. Her name was Elizabeth. Every night Elizabeth changed into a frog. She was very sad because she was lonely. Only 
a kiss of a true lover take off a curse. Big and ferocious dragon was watching the tower. One day brave prince named Matt was hunting. He saw Elizabeth in the window of the tower. He fell in love with her at the first sight. He wanted to help Elizabeth and rescue her. So he went to the old and clever witch and to her wolf. He told her about the matter. She gave him a sharp sword. Matt also took the wolf. They went to the tower. The fight with the dragon was dangerous. Matt and his wolf won and killed the monster. But in the tower there was no stairs. It was no problem because the wolf took flying carpet in his basket which was from the witch. Elvis flew to the top of the tower and found Elizabeth. He kissed her and took her down. After that they got married and they lived long and happily! 

Tom & Huge Joe

Tom was the best fisherman in his village in Cuba, where he lived. He lived there for many years and he decided to make a trip to Carraiben Islands. He chose Carraiben because he wanted to catch a big fish called. “Huge Joe”. Those fish was the most dangerous and the biggest in whole Carraiben. Tom took his equipment end a little rowing boat and left his village. He swam a few days across oceans and storms. When Tom already got to the Carraiben, he settled down in a bay. Some sunny day he started his fishing. He was fishing for a few hours, when he suddenly saw  “Huge Joe”. In one moment the fish attacked him, but Tom bravely defended himself. Unfortunately, “Huge Joe” turned out stronger and it disappeared under water. Tom, exhausted, swam to a little Island. He was sitting on that Island and waiting for help. After a few days he got used to living on the Island. Nobody has helped him until today!

"Doormat"

One march day in a small town, Mrs. Smith was watering the garden and her cat Henry was sleeping there. Suddenly one thief stole it. in supper time Mrs. Smith called it, but Henry didn't come. She was looking henry all evening and all night. Mrs. Smith called the Police, but nobody there treated her seriously. The next day the thief put a letter on her doormat:
" I HAVE YOUR CAT! YOU MUST GIVE ME 2000$. YOU HAVE TIME TILL TOMORROW 5PM".
She was frightened, because she didn't have enough money. She knew that her cat was kidnapped by the thief and if she doesn't pay Henry would be dead. She went to the Police and counted for help, but once more nobody treated her seriously. The thief didn't get money in time and he killed Henry. The next day Mrs. Smith found the dead cat on her doormat . She called the Police and now they believed her. They were very ashamed. After many days they found The Cat Murderer and they arrested him. Unfortunately in the court the murderer wasn't charged, because the Police hadn't collected enough proof.
Mrs. Smith got another cat from her family and she called it Sara. She missed from her cat.

The story about cat, which likes birds :)



One day, when the sun was shining, Mrs Brewin was watering her flowers in the garden. Her cat, Henry, was playing there and he was watching a bird flying among the trees which finally sat on it.

The cat followed the bird and climbed the tree.
Unfortunatelly the cat couldn't get off and even Mrs Brewin couldn't get him down.
She didn't know what to do so she rang the Fire Brigade.
Then she was trying to tempt him with some fish.
Later, the Fire Brigade arrived and took down a cat.
Thankful Mrs Brewin invited them for lunch. They drank tea and ate some biscuits.
Before that, she had given her cat some fish and she had left him in the garden.
When the Fire Brigade was leaving her house they ran the cat over. Mrs Brewin was very angry and sad so the Fire Brigade bought her a new cat.







Moral- Don't leave your cat alone and look after your cat :).

Hello again,
just to remind you what we've decided about our blog activity: please post your stories this weekend, you can do it today if you don't want to work Saturdays or Sundays. You're going to get credit for them on Monday.
Also, start to think about the presentations you'd like to make and who you are going to work with. We are going to discuss and plan these projects at the begining of the lesson on Monday.
And don't forget about the Workbook homework :-) (ex 1,2,3 p22-23).

Feel free to add comments or even write your own posts like me or Dominika any time you have something important to say or an interesting idea to share. But remember to be polite and communicate in English.
